MF Shot は、メニューバー / タスクトレイに常駐するスクリーンショット撮影・簡易編集アプリです。画面の好きな範囲を撮影し、矢印・図形・ペン・蛍光ペン・テキスト注釈・モザイクを付けてから、クリップボードへのコピーやドラッグ＆ドロップで他アプリへ渡せます。撮影画像・編集・モザイク処理はすべて端末内で完結し、外部に送信しません。このページでは、よくある質問とお問い合わせ先をまとめています。
主な機能
- 撮影: 範囲選択・タイマー撮影・全画面。グローバルホットキー（既定 Cmd+Shift+7、設定で変更可）でどのアプリからでも撮影を開始できます。選択範囲の外は暗くなり、撮りたい部分が分かりやすく表示されます。
- 編集: 撮影後に編集ウィンドウが自動で開きます（既定ツールは赤い矢印）。矢印 / 図形（長方形・楕円）/ ペン / 蛍光ペン / テキスト注釈 / モザイク / 色選択 / Undo・Redo。描いた注釈は後から移動・変形できます。
- 出力: クリップボードへコピー、画像をドラッグ＆ドロップで他アプリへ受け渡し、任意の場所へ書き出し（Export）。
- 履歴: 撮影した画像は自動で端末内の履歴に保存されます。履歴から開き直すと注釈はそのまま編集できます（再編集）。

よくある質問
撮影しようとすると画像が真っ黒・壁紙だけになります（macOS）
撮影機能には 画面収録（Screen Recording）権限が必要です。権限が無いと、撮影画像が壁紙のみ・真っ黒になり、撮影できません。
- システム設定 → プライバシーとセキュリティ → 画面収録 を開き、MF Shot をオンにします。
- macOS ではこの権限を付与した後、アプリの再起動が必要です。いったん MF Shot を終了して起動し直してください。

MF Shot は、あなたが選択した画面の領域を静止画として撮影する目的にのみこの権限を使用します。継続的な画面録画やバックグラウンドでの監視は行いません。撮影した画像は端末内に留まり、外部に送信されることはありません。
モザイクを後から元に戻せますか
- モザイクは、個人情報を識別不能にするための機能です。画像に適用してファイルとして書き出した後・コピーした後は、その出力画像からモザイク部分を元に戻すことはできません。
- 編集ウィンドウで作業している間は、**Undo（Cmd/Ctrl+Z）**で直前のモザイク操作を取り消せます。書き出し・コピーの前にプレビューで隠したい箇所がしっかり覆われているか確認してください。
- 元の画面情報を確実に隠せることがモザイクの目的のため、出力した画像からは「やり直し」できない設計になっています。
- アプリ内の履歴から開き直した場合は、注釈としてのモザイクを動かしたり外したりできます（元画像は端末内にのみ保存されています）。
撮影した画像はどこに保存されますか
- 履歴に保存される撮影画像は、OS が MF Shot に割り当てたサンドボックス内のデータディレクトリ（macOS:
~/Library/Containers/jp.meefa.mf-shot/）に保存されます。当社サーバーや第三者に送信されることはありません。 - 「書き出し（Export）」を実行した場合のみ、あなた自身が選んだ場所に画像ファイルが保存されます。
- 利用統計・クラッシュレポート・テレメトリ・広告識別子の収集や送信は一切行いません。詳しくは プライバシーポリシー をご覧ください。
編集した画像を他のアプリへドラッグして渡すには
- 編集ウィンドウ下部の「ここを掴んでドラッグ」ボタンを掴み、チャットアプリのメッセージ欄やメール本文など、画像を受け付ける相手のアプリへドロップします。
- ドラッグ＆ドロップ以外に、クリップボードへコピーしてから貼り付ける方法、任意の場所へ書き出してからファイルを添付する方法もあります。
履歴や設定を削除したい
- 履歴の画像は、履歴パネルの削除ボタンでいつでも削除できます。
- OS 標準の手順でアプリをアンインストールすると、サンドボックス内のデータ（撮影画像・履歴・設定）はすべて一緒に削除されます。
アンインストールの方法
- macOS: Launchpad またはアプリケーションフォルダから MF Shot を削除してください。サンドボックス内のデータも OS の手順に従って削除されます。

MF Shot is a screenshot and quick-annotation app that lives in your menu bar / system tray. Capture any area of your screen, mark it up with arrows, shapes, pen, highlighter, text, and mosaic, then copy it to the clipboard or drag and drop it into another app. All capture, editing, and mosaic processing happens entirely on your device and is never sent anywhere. This page collects the most common questions and how to reach us.
Key features
- Capture: region, timer, and full-screen capture. A global hotkey (Cmd+Shift+7 by default, configurable in Settings) starts a capture from any app. Everything outside your selection is dimmed so the part you want stands out.
- Editing: an editor window opens automatically after each capture (the default tool is a red arrow). Arrows / shapes (rectangle, ellipse) / pen / highlighter / text annotations / mosaic / color palette / undo & redo. Annotations can be moved and transformed after drawing.
- Output: copy to the clipboard, drag and drop the image into another app, or export it to a location you choose.
- History: captures are saved to an on-device history automatically. Reopen one later and its annotations are still editable (re-edit).

Frequently Asked Questions
Captures come out black or show only the wallpaper (macOS)
The capture feature requires the Screen Recording permission. Without it, captures come out as the wallpaper only or fully black, and capturing will not work.
- Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen Recording and enable MF Shot.
- macOS requires a relaunch after granting this permission. Quit MF Shot and start it again.
- You can also open the settings pane directly via:

MF Shot uses this permission only to capture the screen area you select as a still image. It does not record your screen continuously or monitor it in the background. Captured images stay on your device and are never sent anywhere.
Can I undo a mosaic later?
- Mosaic is designed to make personal information unrecognizable. Once you have applied it and exported or copied the image, the masked area cannot be recovered from that output image.
- While you are still working in the editor window, Undo (Cmd/Ctrl+Z) reverses your most recent mosaic action. Before you export or copy, check the preview to confirm everything you want hidden is fully covered.
- Because the whole point of mosaic is to reliably hide the original screen content, there is no way to reverse it from the output image by design.
- If you reopen the shot from the in-app History, the mosaic is still a live annotation you can move or remove (the original image is stored only on your device).
Where are my captured images stored?
- Captured images saved to history live inside the OS-provided sandbox directory for the App (macOS:
~/Library/Containers/jp.meefa.mf-shot/). Nothing is sent to our servers or any third party. - Image files are written to a location you choose only when you run Export.
- We collect and transmit no usage statistics, crash reports, telemetry, or advertising identifiers. For details, see the Privacy Policy.
How do I drag an edited image into another app?
- Grab the “Grab here & drag” button at the bottom of the editor window and drop it onto an app that accepts images — a chat app’s message field, an email body, and so on.
- Besides drag and drop, you can copy the image to the clipboard and paste it, or export it to a location and attach the file.
How do I delete my history or settings?
- History images can be deleted at any time with the delete button in the History panel.
- Uninstalling the App through the standard OS procedure removes the sandboxed data (captured images, history, and settings) along with it.
How do I uninstall MF Shot?
- macOS: remove MF Shot from Launchpad or the Applications folder. The sandboxed data is removed by the OS as part of this process.
